About Me
My name is Chris Jones. I am originally from North Plainfield, New Jersey but currently reside in High Point, North Carolina while attending High Point University studying communications, digital media, media production, etc.
My work experience includes shooting video and photos for Watchung Hills Hockey and Football, editing for The Visual Hub LLC, my own brands MiLB Photography & CJones Photography, head Photographer and Media Editor for the Somerset Patriots for the news outlet Pinstriped Prospects, Student Photographer with the D1 Athletic Department and Office of Communications at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina, and during the summer of 2023, I was a digital media intern with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
My Story
It all started on a beautiful summer night back in 2019... One of my best friends started a news outlet, dedicated to updating people on the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Eager to find my passion, I began looking to find a calling I really enjoyed. At first, I tried starting a minor league news outlet. That maybe lasted a week if even. Although it seems I can write, it was way too much for my liking.

Then one afternoon I was searching through my closets for something, and then I found my first camera. A Canon EOS from the early 2000s, almost older than me! I brought it to the next Somerset Patriots game and found my love for sports media. That's when I founded ALPB Photography. As time went on, I grinded on Photoshop and Lightroom and now I am so proud of the work I was able to produce.
As time goes on, through COVID-19 and to today, I am so proud of how far I have come;
And to think I'm only 20 years old! I feel I am so far ahead of the game at the age I am at, and it is all through the help of all the connections I've gained throughout the years. These individuals and front office staff have helped me pursue my dreams of photography and videography. I am so humbled and excited to write and share my own story through writings, videos, and photos, and be able to capture history!
